TPU transparent elastic tape is a kind of eco friendly garment accessories, which is mainly used for clothing shaping. Now it is adopted by more and more brand clothing manufacturers.

So how is the price of TPU elastic tape defined?

TPU elastic tape, also called mobilon tape, owns the high price transparency in the market with the development of e-commerce. If you want to find TPU tape in very very low price, you can find it if you work hard enough. But it is known to all that you get what you pay for. Low price means low quality while high quality asks for high price. Here we list some factors that affect the price of mobilon tape.

1. Raw materials

Just take TPU tape produce by Yunze as an example. There are three series of YUNZE HDTAPE, respectively B Series, D series and S series. Three series of raw materials are produced in Taiwan, Germany and Japan. No matter the price or the performance of raw material is different from each other. B Series TPU tape is made from Taiwan material. It has less stretch than that made from Germany or Japan TPU material. On contrast, S Series TPU tape, which made from Japan material, owns high elasticity and good anti-aging performance.

2. Specifications

TPU has many specifications, mainly including thickness and width. The thicker the thickness, the wider the width and the higher the price. Generally, wholesale TPU tape is selled by kilogram rather than meter. In one kilogram, there will be longer narrow thin tape while shorter wide thick tape.

3. Surface effect

TPU elastic has two main surface, transparent and foggy. It mainly depends on the dull polish used. The higher the grade of dull polish is, the higher the price is. If you need transparent clear type, we can produce without dull polish.

4. Printing

The price of printed TPU elastic tape is higher than that of conventional one. It is not only contains the material cost of ink but also the cost of machine and labor.

5. Special size

Mobilon tape in special size will be difficult to produce. For example, the tape in ultra narrow or ultra wide will have different price computing method.
